Serhat Bulut (Turkey, 1992) started to play guitar at
the age of 11 and was accepted into the preparatory class of the conservatory
Dokuz Eylul Universitesi in Izmir in 2005. From 2007 he studied at the high
school connected to this conservatory, where he studied guitar with Kadircan
Ozdemir.
In 2012 Serhat came to the Netherlands to study at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Enno Voorhorst, and later at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Lex Eisenhardt. He had lessons and masterclasses with a.o. Johannes Moller, Lydia Kennedy and Zoran Dukic.
Serhat has performed in many concerts in Turkey and the Netherlands, including solo performances and chamber music. He worked with musicians like Dale Kavanagh, Alexander Swete, Thomas Hansy, Judicael Perroy and The Gothenburg Combo.
Next to playing as a soloist he has a passion for teaching.
